History

Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences was founded in accordance with the 62 (d) bylaw of Namık Kemal University foundation act which was published in the official gazette on 17 March 2006 and the law number of which is 26111 depending upon the rectorship. Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences initiated when 13 departments which previously belonged to Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences of Trakya University were transferred to Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences of Namık Kemal University with the approval of YOK General Assembly which dates back to 02.02.2007 with the approval of YOK General Assembly dating 13.08.2008. The Department of Physics initiated a study program for post graduate and with the approval of YOK General Assembly dating 06.11.2008 and the Department of Textile Engineering initiated a study program for post graduate as well.
