Department of Plant Protection
Department of Plant Protection has 7 laboratories ( Phytopathology, Bacteriology, Virology, Biological Control, Economic Entomology, Acarology, and Toxicology) and 4 climate rooms that used for studies on plant diseases and pests.
Research Topics
Entomology section is working on control of insects and mites in agricultural plants and products, phytopathology section is working on research on fungal, virüs and viroids, and weeds in cultural plants and stored product. Academic personnel of the Department has 395 international manuscripts and 247 national manuscripts as total 642 manuscripts.
The department completed for 4 international and 91 national projects.
